Yea cant believe we offered Houston and Sullivan but i just saw a interview with SUllivan where he said we did. How many spots will we have next year. If we could get Colemon, Haas, Riley, and Lee that would be great. Throw in a out of state guy to play the two.

I think Houston put up better numbers when he was in Tuscaloosa. However, Carver was Jeremy Johnson's team. They also had a few bigs that scored their fair share of point.

I'm in a def wait and see pattern on Riley Norris. I didn't realize his parents rigged the game by holding him back a year.

Darius Thompson is announcing Saturday between Tennessee, Virginia, and Bama without any official visits. Looks like he'll be a Vol.

Anyone with a Scout insider want to tell us what 2 schools he wants to visit?

Someone post on bamamag that Alabama was one of the 2 teams he definitely wanted to visit. Who was the other?

“Definitely Alabama and probably Seton Hall because they are local,” Sina said. “With the rest of them I’m going to have to continue to talk to coaches and get back to a lot of people.”

Maybe Pujol can be useful and get him.

That is very encouraging. I REALLY like the "Seton Hall because they are local" part. Doesn't sound too hyped about them. Just from seeing that I think it's probably between us and NW. Let's hope they have a Rick Ray type hire.

Just twitter searched Sina and found this...

Looks like Indiana may be interested. Sucks if true, because he fits the profile of a Hoosier. Can anyone read that link?

He mentioned Indiana as a school that's called. He also mentioned a ton of SEC schools though.

Random thought, but if we land Sina, we not only would land a perfect fit for what we need, but would establish somewhat of a foothold in NJ with the connections he and his dad have up there. That would be huge.

I agree with all that. If we could re-land Sina, it'd almost make up for the early signing period debacle...almost.

It sure would help me get over that mess.

Saw Sina's stats in an article

quote:

For his career, he shot 46 percent from 3-point range, scored in double figures in 104 of 111 games and handed out 10-plus assists on 28 occasions. The Knights went 91-22 with him in the lineup, winning two Somerset County crowns and a sectional title along the way.

This winter Sina averaged 21.3 points and 9.1 assists per game and hit 117 3-pointers

The 46% from 3 is even more impressive if you've seen some of the 3pt shots he took.

I'll go with a 50-50 shot. Feel much better about him after seeing what that Scout article said. I may just be reading too much into what he said.

Everything I've read says that he wants to be very familiar with the coaching staff and vice versa. And right now we are pretty much the only school that fits that desire. Having said that, Indiana is certainly a scary name to hear. Like I said before, he fits what Indiana recruits.

You think if we make it to New York, Sina will come watch?

I actually haven't thought about that, but it wouldn't surprise me.
