This is the most impressive stat of the game imo.

Not sure.

To me it looked like he had a charlie horse in his calf. If thats all it was, then he should be back to 100% by the next game.

Lacey had cramps in both legs. Should be fine for UT.

Any interview conducted by Brando is not a good interview

He called our "loss" at Texas Tech not a bad loss because they are a "Top 50 RPI team". Try top 230, dumbass. Also we already played our game against Mizzou. Does this guy do any prep work before doing an interview?

What is going on with Villanova? First Louisville, now Syracuse.

It kind of shows how weird RPI can be, because they just weren't good when we played them. But I'll take it.

Dykes just said we are 3rd in the nation in second chance points allowed. If so, that's an amazing Stat given our lack of post rebounders.

That reminded me of our games in December.

Now we really can't afford any other losses except for UF and OM and I don't see us being able to do that. Damn

Probably not. 3 seed in the NIT here we come.

That last possession is illustrative of why I don't think Grant is ever going to get it done though. 11 seconds left in the game and that's the best you can come up with? Really? A Tom Izzo team in that situation gets a good look 95% of the time. They might not make all of them, or even most of them, but they will almost always get a decent shot off.

Yeah it was a terrible play design.

Calling it a play is being generous. It was just Lacey freelancing and trying to create a look for himself. That's fine if you are Phil Jackson and it is 1996, but that iso shite only works if you have a truly great player who is either going to make the shot or get the benefit of the doubt from the refs.

I agree the play developed way too slowly. I was hoping for a Releford drive as well. He isn't a good play-caller.

Please don't try and compare him to the greatest coach in college basketball.

Truth is we will probably never get an Izzo, while Grant has his short-comings I still don't want to see him gone, unless we can guarantee ourselves a proven coach like Pearl or Marshall. We fire Grant and sign a nobody we will be right back in the shite-hole with no shot at the NCAAs. I keep hoping for different things that will fix our offense (an assistant, a true pg) because I don't think we are going to be able to find a coach worth a shite. Even if Pearl had no show-cause, do y'all really think he'd come here? There are better basketball coaching jobs to be had IMO.

BTW Jacobs is by far the most frustrating player I've ever been forced to watch play.

I just wish Steele would have driven the ball with 10 seconds left or had the ball with Lacey/Releford.

I would have had Lacey in the corner and Releford drive towards his side and force Lacey's defender to make a choice to help or stay.

I wasn't. I just think he is the best Xs and Os guy in the game and used him as an example of a guy who I would have complete faith in at the end of a close game. I don't expect Grant to be that good, but I do expect him to be better than "Ok Trevor...or Trevor 2, get the ball and ummm, do something."
