I can't imagine either team can send out a third pitcher from their staff as good as their Friday starters, who knows?

We have to beat the loser of the KSU/GSU game first, and then we have to beat the winner twice. We'll play the loser tomorrow morning, if we win that we'll play the winner tomorrow night, and then again Monday night if we win. Still three straight wins away from a super regional.

We can win this regional

We absolutely can. If Keller were healthy I'd say we absolutely should, but sadly that's not the case. We're just going to have to outscore the opponent at least once or twice. Getting a six innings at least and a quality start from Bramblett would be very huge. We need Eicholtz to step up and make a start like we were used to seeing earlier in the year too. But even Bramblett and Eicholtz (maybe Hawley instead?) making good starts only gets us to Monday. The big thing will be for everybody to just throw strikes and make the opposition earn everything, which I'm not optimistic we'll do.

That is why I think Gaspard was trying to save Burrows as much as he could.

on Monday we would just have to use everybody a few innnings or save Burrows if we win by large margins like 6-0, almost backfired.

You can't worry about tomorrow until you win today. You'd think he would've learned his lesson, hopefully this scare finally hammered it home. No point in saving pitchers for games you don't end up playing. And it's not like we needed Burrows to throw 60 pitches, he needed to get three outs. He can still pitch both tomorrow and Monday if need be.

I don't think MG mismanaged the 9th. Was he crazy to think Keller could have been hit the strike zone a few times?

@GSAthletics_BSB: Game is suspended due to the threat of severe weather. Eagles lead 5-3 in the top of the sixth inning. #GSvsKSU

I want them to finish up tonight, although I suppose that would have it's advantages. KSU's starter only lasted a third of an inning tonight and they pulled him. Don't know if he'd start again tomorrow, but I imagine he'd start for sure Monday if we were playing them. Makes me think even more we want them to lose tonight.

ETA: Judging by the radar it looks like the rain is about done there for a little while.

Congratulations to Justin. He is clutch and has been clutch for some time as an Alabama pitcher. Congratulations to the offense for their effort today. I hope they are on in a 3 game zone. And congratulations to T. Burrows! To step up with the bases loaded and a crowd that feels there is actually hope after being in pain for 9 innings and to have the game on his shoulders.. some kinda of clutch this kid is! Roll Tide and Best Tomorrow!

They're back playing in Tallahassee now, and Kennesaw St has tied it at 5 in the top of the 6th.

Kennesaw is up 12-5 now.

Safe to say we'll be playing GSU in the morning.
