Anybody remember the last time White had a good at-bat?

One out double by Salem in the first.

First three batters have taken the first pitch.

Salem to third. Please don't squander this.

Wass down on strikes to end it after Moore smoked one to 2nd. Wass and White both chased a curve ball in the dirt. Encouraging ABs and a better approach though as a whole, relative to yesterday. Salem and Moore hit the ball harder than anybody did yesterday. And two Ks worked their pitch count up to 18. That's one way to do it

Need Kamplain to have his best stuff today

Kamp pounding the strike zone in the first is a refreshing sight. Lazy fly ball, single, DP ends the first.

Two out single by Hughston and a walk by Vincent are stranded by Webb who popped to center. Safe to say if we had this patient, line drive instead of homerun approach yesterday we wouldn't be in this game. Still it's good to see, just have to scratch out a few runs against a much more talented pitcher today. He's thrown 40 pitches thru two innings.

Another good inning for Kamplain. He's in the strike zone and getting some weak contact. 17 pitches thru two.

Homerun for White. I'm gonna start calling out all of our guys

1-0 Tide.

Then Salem goes after a first pitch breaking ball and grounds to the mound. Shades of yesterday. Moore pops to center.

Wass grounds to short to end the inning. Quick nine-pitch inning, but a good one.

Kamp works a little harder in the third, still retired them in order.

Perfect bunt by Overstreet moves Smith to third with one out. Have to get him in. Hughston, Vincent, Webb up.

Webb pops up. Hope that doesn't come back to bite us.
