Anyone planning on going to the Auburn game in Montgomery? I think I will be able to ,but I am not sure yet.

We play @ Southern Miss tomorrow night. They are 2-5 on the season.

Yea that's a lot of runs they've been giving up.
Freshman Nick Eicholtz is expected to make his first career start for us. He's made two appearances this season, pitching a total of 5 scoreless innings while allowing just 2 hits and 3 walks, while striking out 3.

ULL is scheduled to play LSU in BR tonight. There is a chance it gets rained out but the TR seems optimistic.

USM is normally a top 30 program right? They not expected to be very good this year?

They are usually pretty solid but they don't seem to be very strong this year, at least not yet. I honestly don't know much about them coming into this season. On paper, it seems like we should win this game fairly easily. We should have swept SFA too though so we'll have to see what team shows up.

Yea USM is usually pretty solid, but they're off to a rough start this year and if I recall correctly weren't very good last year either.

We played them twice last year and they beat us both times fwiw. They were 30-27 last season.

Well, 30-27 isn't up to their norm but I guess I'll keep my mouth shut about them until we're able to beat them
