I've been very impressed with young Castillo. Should have a bright future. We're also up 3-0 in the 5th.

And with Turnbull starting at the mound you know there's a good chance if he continues to pitch like he has

Good game by Kamplain. He went 7 and a third innings gave up 2 runs on 5 hits and struck out 5 .Would be great to get the sweep Sunday.Castillo got his 2nd save of the series as well.

Leave Keller for Saturdays
Well Kamplain looks pretty good this year starting. He looks much more comfortable in the starting role than in the bullpen.

We still need to find consistent mid-week starters.
I think Guilbeau,Keller or Mike Oczypok could do it.Next years pitching staff should have a lot of depth

We need to sweep. The same with the Missouri series in two weeks. We're not a good road team and wins will be difficult, to say the least, at Mississippi State and Vanderbilt.

We were up 4-0 and a sweep looked promising, but the weather said no. Game three was cancelled.

I hope it doesn't cost us positioning in Hoover. We could have possibly ended up 17-13 in the SEC with seeps over Texas A&M and Missouri, and at least one win in the Mississippi State and Vanderbilt series.

Turnbull(4-1,2.26 ERA) is slated to start Fridays game against state. Sullivan(4-4,3.27 ERA) starts Saturday and Kamplain(1-0,4.82 ERA) gets the start on Sunday. Turnbull will face Luis Pollorena (6-2,3.42 ERA) battle of the aces

I really like that. Maybe the rainout Sunday has a silver-lining in that we get our ace Turnbull to the top of the rotation on Friday night. Aside from having him pitch Fridays now, that will set him up to pitch a probable "play-in" game in Hoover on that Tuesday.

I hope so, I feel like he definitely gives us the best chance to win on Fridays, at least when other aces be pitching

I think is hurts us to play a double header. We do not have as much pitching depth as they do.

Just need Turnbull to throw his usual eight or nine innings in game one
