Having a team with our resume ranked #24 or #25, behind Western Kentucky, TCU, Troy, Coastal, etc is embarrassing for Perfect Game and BA.

Wins vs RPI Q1
Alabama - 10
Arizona - 7
WKU - 6
UCLA - 5
Coastal - 3
Troy - 3
DBU - 3
UCI - 2
TCU - 2

Losses to RPI Q3/4
Alabama - 1
TCU - 1
UCI - 2
Coastal - 2
WKU - 2
Arizona - 3
DBU - 3
Troy - 5

Record vs Q1/2 (Q1 only)
Alabama : 15-9 (10-7)
TCU : 16-11 (2-4)
DBU : 13-8 (3-3)
UCI : 10-7 (2-4)
Arizona : 10-8 (7-7)
Coastal : 8-8 (3-5)
Troy : 8-7 (3-4)
WKU : 6-5 (6-5)

Oh, also, we beat Troy and Coastal.

The Viper!

Chase Lee, a member of the Crimson Tide from 2019-21, was recalled by the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday, marking his first trip to the Major Leagues. His first game appearance will signify his MLB debut. The former Alabama reliever becomes the first Crimson Tide player to reach the big leagues since Tyler Gentry in 2024 and becomes the 71st player in program history to reach baseball's highest level.

Lee appeared in 146 career minor league games prior to his first call-up, posting a 3.86 earned run average in 182.0 innings pitched. The Alabama native has produced a 12.3 strikeouts per nine innings mark since being drafted 164th overall by the Texas Rangers in 2021.

Terrible outing for Alcock
Up 4-1 and he can’t throw strikes. Pitching change incoming

4-4 after 3. I assume our starter did not make it out of the 3rd inning. Seems to be a routine for our starting pitching to not make it past the 4th. It puts a ot of pressure on the BP

Not sure he made it out of 2nd. Go up 7-4 on Staton HR and Blackwood immediately gives up 2runs. Up 7-6 with runner at 1st with 0 outs

Banks looked pretty good in the 8th but the others were not on tonight

ETA -does anybody else notice the throwing motions of many of our pitchers such as Morris, Lehman, Banks, Alcock, they are not smooth and are all arm. Maybe it is the camera angle but damn I can see why some have injuries

Stimmt. We are better than in past years, but still have a ways to go. We have the bats to really keep us in games, but our pitching, while markedly better, still does not have the kind of talent that we would like. We are giving up FAR too many runs to just about everybody.

Don't know what we will do in the portal, but a quick Look at PG and our recruiting class has me only really excited about one pitcher, and don't know if we will be able to keep him from going pro.

We are improving though. Keys are keeping Lebron, and bringing in a few ready-to-go elite pitchers.
