Unfortunately, this program is going to need consistency before fans show up and give their unconditional support. I feel like softball and gymnastics always pull their weight when it comes to fan support. Baseball under Wells was well supported, but just like basketball after Wimp, support just dwindled due to mediocrity.
Also, the city of Tuscaloosa does an absolute shite job working with the university on promoting anything. Walt Maddox is such a UAB cuck.

Well they have been to 3 straight regionals under Vaughn and are a national seed… not sure what else it takes

And didn't have success in the post season. Your success is determined on what you do in the tournament. This is the first time he's hosted.
Not saying it's fair. I wish we supported all programs better and provided more than a mundane atmosphere. Just saying that's what it will take for our fans. No one started showing up to support softball after three straight years.

Too many fair weather fans like me. I plan to go to a game next weekend if we make it but I only wanted to watch these regional games from home.

Only getting 1 run when you start the inning 1st and 3rd with no outs and then bases loaded with 1 out is atrocious hitting.

Adams loses the zone for stretches. Maddening. Just a really bad inning from him when you’d like to see crisp work so he can try and get you 6.

Vaughn made his name as a hitting coach. I doubt we are going to fire him so hopefully we get some lineup pieces that work better.
I will say that we’ve missed two or three probably starters because of injury all season and that probably has hurt our offensive production.
