That’s what happens when you can’t hit. Vaughn is encouraging, this team doesn’t have it though.

Still think this squad should expect to go to Omaha, but if they don't improve I don't see us doing much there.

This squad doesn't have the bats or the bullpen to win a regional and then the super needed to get to Omaha. They seriously damaged their chances to host a regional this weekend.

It was a weekend of missed opportunities in so many ways. The games all played out in a rinse and repeat manner. Slim leads, multiple stranded base runners, hauntingly untimely errors and unfortunate pitches.

Great crowds on hand - maybe the last great crowds of the season as the next home series is graduation weekend and the next after that is two weeks after the students get out.

Still lots to play for but need to start trending in a positive direction. A trip to Birmingham Tuesday to face a surprisingly good UAB team is up next.

5 more sec wins gets them to a regional. If they can manage to win the remaining series they may still host a regional. I don’t think they can win the remaining series. I had hoped they would take 1-3 from Texas and Arkansas and 2-3 from
The rest but I don’t know now.

Winning the rest of our series is a pipe dream, but if we were to pull that off we’d be knocking on the door of a national seed. That would be series wins over Auburn, Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, and Ole Miss among others, and OOC wins over Jax State and Oregon State. Have to think our RPI would be top 2-3 in the country.

Down 2-1 to UAB. It was a fun few weeks thinking Bama baseball could turn it around.

Mickey Mouse defense. Running into each other on a fly ball 8 feet from Home plate. Christ this team is hard to watch
