2nd night in a row where the pitching falls apart in the 8th inning.

Holy Lack of Fundamentals Batman! Pitching is not great but we can’t communicate on a bunt or a cutoff ! Damn

Had a bad feeling about this series.

Statistically, Arkansas was due to win this series. They entered the weekend 5-7.

We were also past due to lose one.

Don’t get too high or too low on this team. Or any Vaughn team.

Well at least softball won the series vs auburn. Vaughn spoke about having to deal with complacency before rhe series. Arkansas came in hungry and DVH is an elite coach. Vaughn ain't there yet.

Goodness…we’re Alabama baseball. We haven’t made Omaha in many years. No reason to have a single ounce of complacency as a Bama baseball player until you have a ring on your finger.

That maybe but when you're a coach and your team is playing well, it's human nature to have to deal with this. We as fans understand there's no reason to lose that hunger. Players really don't sometimes.

I think we just saw what we really are. A good team, not a great team. Think about this….Arkansas started a guy who has NEVER started and we got absolutely RUN.
I’m afraid that’s what the rest of the season will look like too.
And i blame myself. I got excited at the last few weeks and had thoughts of Omaha.

Still could happen. No reason to be down after losing one series for the first time in three weeks. Arkansas is what? 4-1 vs the top 10. DVH is an elite coach too.

Vaughn's got to fix the batting lineup too. Torres has to go lower.

10 runs in the last two innings. So much for having SEC quality BP pitching

Texas and Mississippi State have already lost their series too — both to teams ranked well below them.

It’s just baseball.

We were throwing some guys out there that normally don’t sniff SEC play to preserve some arms for tomorrow.

But yea not a great day overall.

We had a lead at some point before the 8th inning or it was close.

Outside of Tate the others were our regular BP guys.

That’s fine and dandy but this team has had a major flaw from the start. We just can’t hit. Texas and Mississippi state will be fine. Their lineup hits .300 down the board. They will have bad nights but they aren’t bad teams.

We’re middle of the pack in conference team BA. Definitely need a few more guys to step up — especially Torres and Lebron.
