Less shootings though
Don’t know if you know, but they turned that place into a church during Covid and then I think back into a bar a few years ago. Columbus in a nutshell.

I believe the last time we saw each other in person was there.
Sey's, however, is long gone.

I spent $2 grand on Broadway on one night. Well, my wife spent $2 grand on Broadway. She was buying shots for me, herself, our son, our nephews and her sisters like we were at the Princess in Columbus. My AMEX looked at me like this when I woke up the next day:
Sounds like fun!!

Got to 10-0 before AU put 4 on the board. Too funny.
Good win tonight for Bama. Need that hitting confidence to carryover to the weekend!

Greek Night at The Joe last Night - great turnout in Right Field and a good turnout in the stadium. Coach Vaughn’s 100th victory at Bama. Some young guns in the lineup produced big time.

No. 8 Alabama baseball (26-8) saw its bats 13 total hits, including six for extra bases, as the Crimson Tide cruised to a 16-2 win over Samford at Sewell-Thomas Stadium on Tuesday. The game was made official after seven innings due to the 10-run mercy rule. Not only did Alabama produce its 18th consecutive home win, the longest such streak in the country, but head coach Rob Vaughn also recorded his 100th win as the head coach of the Crimson Tide.
Eric Hines was the star of the night, as the freshman finished 3-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, a hit-by-pitch and three runs scored. Hines' two-run home run in the 6th was his first-career home run at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. Luke Vaughn also drove in three runs, having been responsible for a three-run home run in the 3rd. Vaughn eventually finished a 1-for-1, closing with two walks and two runs scored.
Chase Kroberger, in just his second start as a rookie, clubbed his first collegiate home run in the 3rd, following Vaughn with a solo blast. Kroberger was 1-for-2 with two RBI, two walks, two runs scored and a stolen base. Jason Torres posted a 3-for-4 night, collecting a triple and two RBI to go with two runs scored, while Justin Lebron was 2-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored. Bryce Fowler managed a 1-for-4 night with a double and one RBI, with Peyton Steele, who pinch-hit for Fowler in the 6th, lining a two-run double in his lone plate appearance.
JT Blackwood (1-1) gave Alabama exactly what it needed in his fifth midweek start, surrendering just two runs on six hits over 4.2 innings. Blackwood did not allow a walk while picking up three strikeouts. Connor Lehman was called upon in the 5th, totaling 1.1 innings of shutout ball, limiting the Bulldogs to just one walk. Anthony Pesci finished out the win for the Tide, working around a walk while punching out two in a scoreless 7th.
