From everything I have read , Upchurch has a chance to be in the rotation year 1. Need Barnett as well . Fingers crossed

It'll be interesting to see what they do with Barnett. Big-time power bat, but also has a live arm and a big frame that you'd think still has a few ticks of velo in the tank. My guess is that he becomes strictly a corner infielder, but there is intrigue with his arm. FYI his little brother Paul has a better arm. Good bat, too, but not as good as Caleb. I'd assume we've already offered him (he will be a JR at Mtn Brook this year).

Don't know about a projection, but he hasn't been drafted so far. They are in the 16th Round now.

So essentially this is shaking out to be best case scenario, yes? We got everyone back who there was possibilities of going pro and it seems our signees are coming in
