We probably would've won had we not run off the bench like idiots. Nate Mason had just been ejected, and the lead was down to 7

Incredible effort by Galin, Riley, and Collin. Let's be honest though. It was pretty classy by Pitino to not press us.

Indeed. They could've best us by 50 if they wanted to.. This game could not have been won. But they still play with heart. Hopefully Petty is ok.

It looked like Petty hurt his foot. Hope he didn't break it.

Yeah. We need Petty back. This loss will bring us back down to earth some. Our bigs got worked, and our defense has a long way to go. Still 5-1 is a good start to the season.

Honestly, I think they started out that way but then kind of were like Uhhh, what do we do? They missed some 3s, got tentative and starting shooting forced 14 footers.

Dude, they were still shooting wide open three's and they had the press on 3 players and were still having trouble.

The refs blew this game.

Not really much the refs could do. It's a stupid rule that you have to be ejected if you leave the bench, but it is a rule

You have to take control before it gets to that point.

They T'd up Mason but I still feel like you give Avery/Bench a clear warning before you send the entire bench home.

you mean holding the ball for 20 seconds and jacking up a shot...you call that actually playing? Because that's what they did, held the ball literally and shot at the end of the shot clock. They weren't trying. Basically taking a knee. The couldve abused us inside

they never pressed...they double teamed but that was it. It was that or either stand around and let Bama score.

The rules don't allow for that. The rule is why you don't have more 12 on 12 scrums on the court.

If you just step off the bench and don't do anything, that should be a tech not an ejection.

How many steps? One? Five? Ten?

Three officials can't watch 24 to 30 players if something breaks out. At the HS level in many states...Tennessee, for example...its also a 2 game suspension.

It absolutely should be an ejection. Keep your dumbass on the bench. Anyone who has spent 15 minutes around sports knows that a technical wouldn't be enough of a deterrent.
