Also, Georgia can absolutely find offense against this bunch. And if that's the case, that game becomes extremely difficult......because we will get ours on offense but their defense will present a totally different challenge

Absolutely, you can always count in on a stout defense. But an explosive offense always has issues 1 or 2 games a year. You can bank on it.

UGA will get theirs on offense, meanwhile if we struggle for several possessions on offense against that D it’s gonna be ugly.

But alas I’m getting ahead of myself, that’s next week. We are in a dogfight with a shite Ole Miss team cause our defense is that bad.

Alabama's defense died on the field against Deshaun Watson in early 2017. Pruitt held the remnants somewhat together for another year.

Just tackle. They seem to miss tackles a helluva lot more than usual.

Our back 7 can't tackle and our front guys literally refuse to blow up a play. Great combination

I hate the delayed blitz. It almost never works and a decent QB can see it from a mile away

Feels like we really need 7 this opening drive. At least we can finally get ahead.

Although to be fair, we probably need 7 just about every drive.

Yea, it’s an unpopular opinion for some reason, but I agree with you

It's like the homerun, strikeout and walk analytic thing in baseball.

I GET IT, I understand it's how teams win now and that it's smart.......but it's not pleasing for me to watch nor do I enjoy it.

Pretty sure Kiffin just did that to Golding in the first half

Saban will pull it out of there and give him a contract extension because the brown marks were beautiful

Right now I wish the delayed blitz was our only problem. These guys just need to do the basic stuff like tackle.

The fact that teams are almost guaranteed 2-4 yards on every run play is the perfect microcosm of where we used to be and where we are now.

Georgia is gonna cause major issues for us next week. Our run game isn't even that good tonight. We will more than likely be completely one dimensional. Our defense is obviously terrible so they will easily get their points. I'm feeling pretty awful about that game. We don't match up well at all with this trash tier defense

True but I think it is a major part of 3rd and golding

Regular blitz is shite too. Run up the back of a DL and jump up and down looking in the backfield

Same. I thought it was going to be a massive gain with the way he shot out of the backfield

I thought baremore would be killing it. Maybe his injury is still bugging him

The number of times we have 6 guys in the box looking at the center when a QB or RB bounces outside is honestly impressive.
