Way too many stupid mistakes. We punch another in before halftime like we should have and they would have folded.
Missed FG
Fumble inside our own 15 yd line
QB got stepped on and cost us 4 points
Had at least 3 opportunities to get turnovers from them but didn't
Grubb calling 3 running plays in a row when they had 7 or 8 guys in the box

Seems glaringly obvious Michael Carroll should be your starter at RT. Not sure why this is such a hard decision.
I don’t know if Carrol is the answer at RT but I know Formby isn’t. He needs to be a Guard.

A win is a win, but… imo the only reason this game was close was missed tackles. It was a pathetic tackling day. Right side of the OL is a weakness. Tackling is horrible.

SO many mistakes, but I think this was actually the best case scenario for our chances next week (aside from the injuries).
If we had blown out Mizzou, we'd probably be a bit lackadasical in practice, feel untouchable, etc.
This was a CLOSE win where we made A LOT of mistakes. This should keep the team fired up this week during practice and put us in a good position next week (at least mentally)

Roberts out of the doghouse now?
I think it was a matter of us running the ball for sure and him being a good run blocker.

Dumbass our defense won us the game.

Hardy held to 52 yards. Highly commendable effort by the defense.
“Fire Kane Womack. Hubbard and Lawson are losers.” Am I doing this right?

We got banged up. If we slammed the door on them like we could have they would have quit

Make no mistake, Lawson is the shittiest backer we’ve had since depriest. I will give you the bank if you can post one snippet of a play he made the entire game. I’ll be here waiting.

Never seen an Alabama team this banged up. But these freshman are impressive.

Alabama depends on its offense to dictate the game to the opponent but we don’t really have an elite running game. So when our QB is not having a fantastic game due to pressure, it can look sloppy.
Frankly, the defense did a good job of holding up considering that the offense completely fumbled the middle third of this game. When they tied it up, our defense bowed up. However our 4 minute defense with 2 score lead was pitiful and offense failed to close it out because they cannot run between the tackles when everyone knows what is coming.
I am never apologizing for our opponent handing us a game but we did not handle the later stages of the halves worth a piss in this one. To win with those circumstance is a blessing and I will take it.

A ton of bitching after knocking off a top 15 team on the road in the middle of the most brutal stretch of games I can recall.
Bama football is back. World is healing.

If you told me we’d completely lose the middle 8 and both end of half situations against a top 15 undefeated opponent on the road (won 15 straight in their place), I’d assume we’d lost in a frustrating fashion. Wins are always a blessing and even more so these days. No depth, clock rules make games tighter, NIL, transfers, etc.

Defense was not ready on the opening series and looked bad on the next to last series.

I don’t know the answer cause I haven’t seen a lot of Missouri football this year, but was it not being ready or did they use the bye week to throw us some scripted wrinkles?

Hats off for holding leading rusher to 52 yards!

Defense is fine take out 0 and 1. Offense was the issue today. Formby being his usual and Ty playing a little too much hero ball

2 games in a row we have left points on the road. It could bite us in the butt vs UT
