After Nelson air balled that first 3, I was dog cussing him and how bad he’d been the last week and a half. He then proceeded to play at an elite level the rest of the way. Glad he wasn’t down on himself like I was

Grant usually plays really well in the big games.

If Mo could actually dribble, good god.
Huge win
I don’t even remember Tuesday.

Thats what they said about Herb Jones.
Let Mo stick around for his whole 4 seasons and watch how good he can get. Nate clearly loves him.

Ole Miss is just kind of a dirty team defensively.

Only got to catch the under 5 today but it was a great close out to the game on the road. Made all the clutch plays. Didn't let them backdoor it in the free throw slog down the stretch.
Really think this team just got caught looking ahead in the Ole Miss game after the road top 10 matchup last Saturday and the road top 10 matchup today. No disrespect to Ole Miss. They outplayed Alabama...basically punk'd us. Really shows that every single game on the conference schedule is a big game. There are no games where you can treat it like "the easy one."

The odds of losing one game between @A&M, Ole Miss, and @Kentucky are pretty damn high

I'm not going to dwell on that loss much because 2-1 was my mental model for a successful navigation of that stretch. Encouraging that a rare bout of poor effort and getting out-hustled was the cause of the loss. Oats is good at getting effort out his team but just didn't have them dialed in that night. I do not suspect we will have that problem v. Vanderbilt in this upcoming midweek game. We shall see...
