Based on Womack’s comments and Grubbs’ loyalty, they’re all very close friends. When you care about the person you’re working for immensely, you’re going to give it that much more effort. That’s what we have. I know the first natty they win will bring about head coach offers, but it would be nice for this staff to hang out together for about three or four years (or longer) and really dominate the landscape of college football during that time. It’s hard to say they’re about to build something truly special in T-town, because it’s already been built, but I deeply believe they’re going to continue the dominance better than anyone else could’ve while winning over our fan base. I’m excited! Can’t wait for A-day!

The main pieces should all be in the same page and hit the ground running. If they add a few key players they could contend from day 1

Eta and obviously don’t lose anymore key players

Being able to work together is the key to success in any organization. The Barn said that their staff in 2023 wasn't a good fit and we see the results. I was fortunate to work with the same group of people for many many years. I enjoyed going to work and we accomplished many good things.

The positive thing about this staff is that it appears to be DeBoer's and Deboer's alone.

My biggest worry about this staff was interference. Interference by the athletic director and big money donors.

Nothing and I mean nothing will frick a Coach and program up more than rich folks who believe they should "have a voice".

For better or for worse, this is Kalen DeBoer's staff and that right there is the most positive thing that's come out of these hires.

Yes, we do not need to go back to the good ol boy network pre Saban. I remember him coming and firing a bunch of people who had jobs because of their uncle being a booster or such.

Great coaches are going to leave for better jobs, just part of the business

I personally feel like Byrne hit a home run with this hire. I would have been OK with Lane but that was not going to happen and we know that Kirby and Sark weren't leaving their current positions.
I trust that Coach DeBoer will put together a highly competent staff. It might not be full of big names but I think these guys will do a great job and I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.
