This board and tRant are going to be absolutely toxic for about a month after the election regardless of who wins, huh?

I'm ready to get this over with. I and 99% of people who were old enough to vote in the last election have known how we were going to vote in this one for four years now, and my vote doesn't even matter because I live in Alabama.

The direction I would like to see my country take is much more important than college football.

I truly don’t think it makes a lick of difference who is the president but every propaganda machine will try to whip you up into voting for them by making you think it will.

So yeah, I’d like to see a bama basketball natty.

Not only that, but purposefully directed at red states. You know, because hurricanes haven't been hitting Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina for as long as we have a recorded history of weather events. It's a brand new thing.

These people have created their own reality and are trying to force everyone else to live in it.

Hard to say it’s MSNBC when a guy is rallying for his political enemies to be investigated and sentenced for simply disagreeing with him

It’s just stupid rhetoric he keeps putting out there for no reason

He’s been investigated to death!! I read some of these answers and wonder what reality some people are living in. I love everything Bama but after these past 4 years I wouldn’t vote for a democrat to run anything. Well, maybe would vote for a democrat to run Aub university. Let em run that dump in the ground!!

The inability for the right throughout modern political history (French Revolution and forward) to recognize the difference between a liberal and socialist/communist then understanding they can make common cause with the liberals because they're just afraid of their left flank as you are...has led to a lot of needless death and desolation. In particular, that was the crux of how the Bolshevist were able to maneuver themselves into power despite being a minority party the entire time of the Russian Revolution.

I think gas prices can go down because it does fluctuate a good bit and the US generally has the cheapest gas in the world anyway.

I'm afraid the groceries are just the new normal. Gas is one of the few things out there that has actually held up well in terms of value when considering inflation. I'm never seeing 5 dollars for a 5 pack of party pizzas ever again.

The only thing lowering grocery prices are big government one way or another: subsidizing production or forcing businesses to flood the market at the barrel of a gun along with price controls. I don't think either party has the appetite for those options.

And also I'm tired of busting my arse for 40 hours a week just to barely pay my bills and my tax money being sent to Ukraine or given to an illegal immigrant. My tax dollars are suppose to be used on America

Yeah but I don't think a GOP admin and legislature is cutting off the spigot for Israel or Taiwan though...

The simple fact she proposes to tax UNREALIZED capital gains should disqualify her. If you don't understand how devastating that would be to the economy, you don't need to be voting. Sure, she probably couldn't get it through Congress, but why in the world would you vote for someone with that mindset?

Her combination of dangerous stupidity is flat out scary.

The unrealized capital gains tax is so stupid I have no doubt it will never happen and it is just politicking because it sounds tough on people with wealth.

But the fact it is being discussed no matter how limited is ridiculous. That'd be liking getting taxed on the potential payout halfway through a parley that ended up not hitting.
