And the 6 of them are Milroe's. 4 fumbles and 2 interceptions.

Jalen Milroe gave Michigan 16 points. If they had any kind of offense, that score is 31-0 and the game is over in the first quarter.

If Ty Simpson is worse than that, then he doesn’t need to be on scholarship for football at the University of Alabama. If Simpson is serviceable and DeBoer just didn’t have the balls to pull Milroe, then he doesn’t need to be the coach at Alabama. Neither situation is optimal.

The way you're breaking it down actually looks better than it is.

Against Oklahoma - 3 interceptions, 1 turnover on downs
Against Auburn - 4 fumbles (3 lost, 1 recovered), 1 interception
Against Michigan - 3 fumbles (2 lost, 1 recovered), 1 interception, 2 turnovers on downs

So counting turnovers on downs, you're looking at 13 turnovers in three games, nearly 15 if not for 2 fumble recoveries.

Milroe had one passing touchdown over that span.
