I look at their schedule and see anything from 4-8 to 8-4 but more likely 6-6

They'll probably end up bowl eligible because the ACC is fricking atrocious at this point and they duck Louisville and SMU, but a lot of those games are probably tossups for them. There's still somewhat of a talent gap, but it's not what it once was. Dabo hasn't really stacked talent since before NIL and the portal, and most of his last elite class was gone after 2024. They've gone 7-7 since. He has finally embraced accepting transfers, but it's probably too little too late at this point unless they're willing to give him a lot of time to go through a genuine 2-3 offseason rebuild to fix the roster. They've had multiple guys on the field at any given time the last few years who just look like C-USA or Sunbelt players. I bet he's going to be too stubborn to make it easy on them though. I'm sure all the decision makers and check writers are praying for him to retire.

Say what you will about DeBoer, I’m glad we didn’t hire Norvell.

Only two of those seem like definite wins though. Virginia Tech under Franklin will be competitive. Miami is a definite L. The others are 50/50.
