Dude, come on. You may not like the guy but Jeanty can flat out play. If he was in the SEC, he’d be dominant here too and be hands down the best RB in the conference and it wouldn’t even be close.

One thing I like about the portal guys we seem to be after - all of them can give us multiple years. Definitely seem to be targeting three spots - OL, WR, DL.
No quarterbacks mentioned, which makes me think the staff feels good about Simpson and Mack (and I'm sure Russell, but obviously there's no real context there).

Jeanty is a good back and will be the top one taken in the NFL Draft. Probably late first to second round given the value of tailback.

I disagree. Nobody gets the amount of carries he gets in this league. There's obviously a reason for that. It's tough sledding and they take a beating.
It took Derrick Henry and the best o-line in the fricking country for a running back to rush for 2200 yards in the SEC this century. A RB has rushed for 2000+ yards exactly ONCE in the history of our conference and you think Jeanty would do it? You think Jeanty is better than King Henry? Give me a fricking break.

OK, so a RB has to be at least as good as Derrick Henry or he’s not good? OK….?? Makes total sense.

I was responding to the person who said Jeanty would rush for more yards than he did for Boise if he had better linemen. And I never said Jeanty wasn't good.

According to On3, He was planning on entering it. Then they (On3) released a blurb saying that Alabama was working out a deal with his representatives. That’s basically all that’s out there right now.

It takes 48 hours to process the paperwork so he should be listed today. I would say Miami waited until the last minute trying to get him to stay
