I find that funny because I can only think of 3 players from TAMU brand wise.
One is a spoiled little rich kid washout brand.
One is attempted murder with a helmet brand.
The one guy with a respectable brand is a chicken farmer

Why? That’s the bullshite all the talking heads have been selling with this decision to pay players by the NCAA. “Building my brand” is the new buzzword in recruiting. I dont know how a DT thinks he’s going to be such a marketable personality unless he’s another Chase Young.

Look at the total of 82 enrolled now and the explanation right below that. We have 82 enrolled scholarship players right now, so there's room to add 3 within the 85 limit. We'll have 13 new summer enrollees, including Tucker. 13 - 3 = 10 spots (departures) needed.

That "brand building" talk just made me feel 100x better about not getting him honestly. We have to get rid of those types. Im still kind of upset with Lewis and his, "Roll damn tide but i wont practice for free no more" lol.

These insiders say they are connected to Alabama directly. Alabama's staff was informed McKinnley wasn't coming. Yet they all put their picks for Alabama and all the others followed suit.
If these insiders had the connection they claim, they would have known once McKinnley told the staff he wasn't coming.
It's quite hypocritical to mock LSU fans over VolTiger, then defend our guys who basically have shown they aren't connected and are guessing themselves.

Reminds me of a guy's cousin who played QB which I knew committed to Saban but none of these insiders knew. None reported it. I didn't actually say something till it finally got revealed

You may be right but I have never heard this nor has this ever been my assumption. They have always been recruiting analyst/journalist to who work for third party organization. If they are marketing as they are getting info from the staff so be it but I have never seen that before.
And I am not defending them. I know they are guessing. I’m just saying if a kids tells them they are going to Bama and they don’t you can’t get upset with that.
When I listen to recruiting analyst podcast they talk about talking to the kids and families as their primary source more than people inside the program.
And I have never mocked VolTiger either, I’ve never even talked about him. I really don’t pay attention to message board “insiders”. I generally just say anything that comes from a UGA message board insider is likely even more BS than any other schools including Bama.
I’m honestly not sure why you are arguing with me. I don’t think we disagree.
