I read that thread too - some of them appear on the verge of spontaneous combustion.
I will never understand caring that much about where a recruiting service ranks a player that is coming to play for you. The player is still coming, the ranking literally changes nothing about the player. If he's a great player like you think, there is absolutely nothing to care about. And we have a huge portion of fans who act the exact same way.
I mean I get it, everyone wants to talk shite about being best at whatever is going on, but it's just so damn silly

UGA fans act like 5* is the end all be all on a player. It helps but no guarantees that player ends up being great. Their fans go around speaking in absolutes about a player and their team because someone projected to start had 5 stars

Conversely, they blamed their offense this past season on a lack of talent outside even though Pickens, Robertson, and Blaylock were all 5* recruits.
Consistency is boring though.

I always found that strange.
They bang on about how they haven't recruited well, then when February comes they brag about being recruiting champs.
They had an entire lineup of 5star WR, yet according to them Fromm had no one to get the ball to. Strange.

Was posted by someone very reliable this morning on another site (basically the same thing as everything posted here about him) that Bama's staff feels very confident right now, but still has some concern over A&M. We'll see what the buzz is after this weekend's visit there.

Seems like we dont do well in the late signing period when it comes to defensive lineman. I just hope the relationship with Roach locks it up for us.

As were Jake Fromm, Swift, White and some of their OL. On paper, their offense should have been top 3 in the nation last year just looking at 5-star talent.

Yep, it seems we get the “diamond in the rough” recruits that last weekend and are trying to hold off other schools with committed or high targets the last weekend . May not be but it sure seems that way

Surge, I feel like in the past the weekend before NSD is usually a defacto Junior day for on campus visits. Am I mistaken? If not have you heard anything about 2021 prospects visiting?

I agree with Tider, we have no visitors scheduled to visit this last weekend . Guess the staff has their reasons but doesn’t make sense to me
