Idk why it was switched. If Bama is concerned about him visiting for the LSU game, it seems to me it wouldn't have been initially scheduled for that game. However, Bama will have a lot of visitors for the LSU game, so now Boutte will probably get more attention on his OV. Maybe Boutte had second thoughts about it, since he's committed to LSU.

I was wondering if this meant y'all were going to flip Clowney. Word a couple of weeks ago was that he wasn't responding much to the LSU coaches.
I haven't seen any mention on BOL of Bama recruiting Clowney.

LINK ]2021 QB Jake Garcia pulls the trigger (247Sports)
Note: Garcia is teammates with Traeshon Holden and Jordan Banks. He's a 5* #4 pro-style and was offered by Bama, but appeared to be no higher than about 3rd or 4th on their QB board.

Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne junior quarterback LINK ]Jake Garcia announced his commitment to USC moments ago. Just a day after USC lost elite 2020 QB Bryce Young, who flipped to Alabama, they rebounded nicely landing one of the top signal callers in the 2021 class... (more)

Could just be there will be a TON of people there for the LSU game. Not just recruits, but celebrities. Went 2 years ago and only recruits were allowed on the sidelines pregame due to the sheer number of celebs down there. If he's coming and bringing the whole family, a slower weekend is actually better.

So is Gilbert possibly popping this weekend (maybe wishful thinking) the most likely next commit or is someone else on the horizon?
The longer Joseph waits either way makes me concerned about his academics. Hopefully he is doing well in Juco.

Watching that clip of Jah-Marien Latham from TD Alabamamag got me curious on how the rest of his Senior year is going so far.
Thankfully, he had highlight clips on his Hudl page that didn't disappoint.
vs Marion County
vs Lynn
vs Brilliant
vs Marengo
This dude is fricking VIOLENT on both sides of the ball. Holy shite.
Only ESPN has him rated appropriately at #112 overall.
Rivals has him ranked as the #31 DT and 247 has him at #647 overall.

J-ML tossing those guys around like a sack of flour! I'm guessing his lower ranking is mainly due to playing at 1A school more than anything?

Seems to me that alot of DL out of AL are criminally underrated. Darius was only a 4-star, Q. Williams 4-star, Dale 4-star. Not sure why, but outside of Payne...Alabama DL seem to get undervalued by the services often.
