What is Henry To'oto thinking right now? He could be at Bama playing but now his head coach might be fired by mid-season. It pays to go with the sure thing.

Gotta say today was a good day to have Arik Gilbert at the game. 2 Td's to Tight Ends and Tennessee taking maybe their worst L ever

There is always the transfer portal.. and if he can get someone to say a racial slur or something like that he can play right away.... send the REC

Some news that might impact Bryce Young.
Jack Sears (highly regarded as a recruit but he was a 4th string this year) plans on transferring from USC which leaves them with 3 scholarship quarterbacks. Besides the sophomore starter JT Daniels, they have a redshirt junior who will probably transfer after this year and a 3 star freshman.
If Young flips they are in a world of hurt, especially if Daniels leaves after 2020.
JT Daniels went down with a knee injury for USC. Nothing is confirmed but it looked serious on TV. After he was helped to the sidelines he was taken away on a cart. Hate to see anyone go down like that. They are likely starting a true freshman for a good part of this year.

The new QB hasn't been bad either

I was about to agree with you and then he just threw a pick into double coverage.
. He looked pretty good before that.
If Daniels is out and this kid plays well this adds another wrinkle to the Bryce Young recruitment.

What an odd observation for a guy who's DEMANDING that he play WR to make. LongDawg, please explain.

“Coach Saban, there’s a gentleman on line 2 inquiring about an analyst position. His name is Helton.”

Looks like the MRI showed a torn ACL and meniscus for Daniels per Helton. Hate to hear it. Despite all the other stuff at USC he probably would have had a strong year in Harrell's Air Raid offense.
With Young, I wonder what is more appealling, competing against 2 guys with a year of starting experience at USC in an Air Raid offense or competing against Mac and Lia who have never started but will be going into year 4 and 2 being in the program for a pro style.
Of course he just may end up in Urban's spread which would be

Alabama will host 2021 four-star tight end LINK ]Hudson Wolfe this weekend for what will be his third visit to Tuscaloosa in 2019. The Savannah (Tenn.) Hardin County product earned an offer from Nick Saban in person during his first trip out to the Capstone in February. Wolfe returned for a spring practice in March.
“[Nick Saban] mentioned my breed of size and athleticism and talent was kind of fading,” Wolfe said at the time. “You don’t see many guys with that now. He definitely wanted to jump on it. With the tight ends they use, they’ve got two big tight ends in the game sometimes and he liked the way I can fit in with that.”
Offensive line coach Kyle Flood and special teams and tight ends coach Jeff Banks are heading up Wolfe's recruitment. Coaches are now able to contact 2021 recruits over text or Twitter direct messaging, among other electronic message mediums.
“With Coach Flood, he’s got a crazy amount of experience,” Wolfe said. “He came from the Falcons. He definitely knows what he’s doing and is good at what he does.
“With Coach Banks, he’s just a real great guy. He obviously knows what he’s talking about. I sat in on some of the position meetings with him teaching and he really knows his stuff … obviously he does, he’s at Alabama. I trust what Coach Saban has put on the table with those guys and I believe they’re the best at what they do.”
At 6-foot-6, 243 pounds, Wolfe is rated the No. 6 tight end and the No. 219 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings.
