BOL Camp Nugget per T Watts
Per a source another prospect who made a strong impression while camping at Bama was Baton Rouge native Jaquelin Roy. The 6-4, 290-pound defensive end didn't lose a rep according to two sources and was a massive force. Quick off the ball, good leverage he even drew Marcel Dareus potential comparisons. Quite the compliment. His recruitment is shaping up to a Bama-LSU battle with the Tide feeling like they are right in the middle of it. Kid loves Golding too. LSU will obviously be a major factor and he's a priority for them.

Will Anderson nugget from T Watts
Throwing in a Crystal Ball pick for Will Anderson to Alabama. After checking with a couple sources, the Tide is still trending coming out of the weekend visit to Tuscaloosa. Charles Kelly and Sal Sunseri have done a good job here.
As things stand now Bama is in good shape with a decision coming within the month most likely.

2021 prospect Latrell McCutchin per BOL
Another prospect we had on commitment watch heading into the weekend was 2021 four-star cornerback Latrell McCutchin. Similar to Anderson, the Austin (Texas) LBJ product named the Tide his top school prior to returning to the Capstone for a visit. And also similar to Anderson, Alabama only helped itself in the four-star prospect’s recruitment. McCutchin set a commitment date for next May, but I would not be surprised to see an announcement happen much sooner than that.

So how many LB's are we going after?
We have five committed and going after : Flowe,QRobinson,Anderson,Webb,Smalls,JBanks,Sewell and more.
So going to sign 10 this year?
Guess Saban does not want the situation of last two years.

Guess Saban does not want the situation of last two years.
I think we get 7 or 8, with Robinson, Smalls and Anderson as the most likely additions. Depending on room, someone like Wright may have to look elsewhere, especially if the staff views him as a LB.

Wright is a DB at the moment, but definitely don't discount him over his rank.

It's funny to me living in Louisiana how the LSU fans have one opinion of Saban but the players and their families have another opinion.

I always had a feeling Sa'vell Smalls would come to Bama. The kid has been to Tuscaloosa numerous times and for a kid from Washington state to do that seems to say he likes Bama.

With 2 True Freshman in the 2018 class, pulling a top notch QB doesn't seem likely, but are we gonna add a decent arm in this class?

Good chance at landing Bryce Young if USC has anoher mediocre season.
Also, one to watch will be Chubba Purdy (Brock's younger brother... and yes, amazingly, that's his real name). Will be interesting to see how he does this year.
