It'll be interesting to see who comes in first in relief at OLB, Ben Davis or one of the freshmen....my guess is one of the freshmen at this point

The National Football Foundation released its list of 1,161 student-athletes on 2018 NCAA and NAIA football rosters today and the Alabama Crimson Tide once again ranks among the national leaders in active players who have already received their degrees.
Alabama’s 12 graduates ties for eighth among all college football programs in the NCAA and NAIA for the 2018 season. It also ties for eighth in the Football Bowl Subdivision and shares No. 1 in the Southeastern Conference with Auburn.

Redshirt junior Richie Petitbon plans to transfer after the season, sources told AL.com.
Petitbon, who graduated in May, will be immediately eligible for another school as a graduate transfer.
A former top-65 recruit, Petitbon got set back by a torn ACL in April 2016 but has worked at every position along the offensive line for the Crimson Tide the last two years and has appeared in six games as a reserve this season.
The Maryland native was one of Alabama’s Commitment to Academic Excellence award winners during the spring of 2017.

it should be 12, Jamar King used his football time up last year. (Would he still count as scholarship?) He was invitied to try out with the Raiders but was not offered a contract.
Great to see him return and finish his degree. He transferred in from Mendocino CC in 2016 and added depth to the DL (#90)

Alabama’s 2018-19 season is over, and Nick Saban is already turning his attention to 2019-20. But before players make decisions on the 2019 NFL Draft and some seniors play in various all-star games across the country, let’s reflect on the season by breaking down the Crimson Tide’s 15-game participation chart and the players that are now eligible to redshirt next year.
A total of 77 players saw the field for Alabama this fall with 21 of them playing in all 15 games, according to UA’s updated participation following the Tide’s 44-16 loss to Clemson on Monday.
As for redshirts, injured players like linebackers Terrell Lewis and Christopher Allen and corner Jalyn Armour-Davis never saw the field, so they can obviously gain another year of eligibility. Safety Daniel Wright played in four games before a suspension and should surgery, but with the new redshirt rule that allows players to appear in four games and still redshirt, he can do exactly that.
Sophomore tight end Major Tennison also played in four games, which means he can choose to redshirt this season and return next fall as a redshirt sophomore. There were six true freshmen that did this, as well, appearing in at least one game but no more than four. Those players were Stephon Wynn, Emil Ekiyor, Cameron Latu, Xavier Williams, Jerome Ford and Slade Bolden.
Scholarship freshmen that did not play in a single game this fall include Armour-Davis, Tommy Brown, Christian Barmore, Michael Parker, Jarez Parks and Layne Hatcher, bringing the total number of players that can redshirt to 16 with freshmen making up 12 of that redshirt eligibility. Older players that did not see the field but have already redshirted were Elliot Baker, Hunter Brannon and Kendall Randolph.
