We have so many highly ranked players considering us and listing is in their top 5 or 10, but none have picked their schools yet. I'll be so glad when we land that first commit.

Would be really funny if we land a few in the next month and overtake Auburn. Their fans are already bragging about being #1 but it won't last.

I really hope the staff is still pursuing Herb Jones hard. JMO, but I think it would be a shame to let a local player go elsewhere. Especially since he's 6-7 and has the ability to finish in traffic.

Other than that, Sexton and Reese in one class is a helluva job by a 2nd year CBB HC.

I've heard the same thing but I'm not sure how far down the list he is. Our top targets seem to be Sexton, Petty and Hammonds. The next tier would be Reese, Jones, Brooks and Garza. (Although Garza could be in top group.)

I think we'll turn up the heat on Jones if Petty chooses KY. It also wouldn't surprise me to leave one schollie open for a late grad transfer.

I don't know how Reese isn't in the top tier with his shooting ability and size. I just have the bad feeling that Averymisnt taking guys that are willingn to come here which I don't believe we are at the stage where we can turn anyone away.

That's a little bit different than what I heard. I was told that Sexton, Petty, and Reese are our top 3 wants.

ETA: I did hear the uab stuff though. They said it'll be us or them, but they think he'll end up choosing Bama. His girlfriend attends uab.

Arthur Edwards posted a pic of him watching practice from the sideline today. Someone asked him how this year's team looked and he said "They will be in the tourney guaranteed next year". By "next year" he meant this coming season. I'm glad he thinks that. Glad to hear that come from someone who's actually around the team.

Pretty sure I just got banned from the recruiting board over a joke about Auburn in response to them ribbing Alabama. Man, those frickers are sensitive.

In general, yeah, ce1976 is reliable.
