agreed on 19 wins

9-4 ooc, 9-9 in SEC Play, 1 in the tourney (or some variation of that)

Guess the Ariz line this weekend? Ariz -8?

Just FYI we are making 63 % of our free throws which makes us 325th in the country. Teams that shoot against us are only making 60.5% against us which is good for 347th of 351. Don't know what that means exactly. Either we are lucky or it is hard to shoot in our gym, maybe both.

I'd say -8 is about right. I think Kenpom has us losing by 7

That's some crappy free throw shooting on both ends of the floor!....Seriously though, we've been lucky. When we get into the conference, there'll be a bunch of games that'll probably be decided by a hand full of points or less, and FT% and holding our own on the boards will determine whether our year is successful or not.

This team will make the tournament and be better than 9-9 in sec. Counting us I see 6, maybe 7 sec teams getting in. The league is deep but it's not the minefield some are making it out to be. UK, a&m, FLA, Bama, ark, and Tennessee are ahead of pack...With mizzou being a wildcard. Everyone else is dangerous but not tournament quality. Our schedule is gonna pay dividends down the road and we ll be better for it.

When we learn to play with each other, develop team chemistry and accept designated roles we will be hard to stop. The development of Donta as a scorer will be huge for us down the road.

Think about the first 2 years under Avery. It seems we usually start to play as a team right when SEC play begins. If we can just finish the non-conference schedule with a pretty good record, I feel good about our team going into the second half of the year

Agreed, I think roles will be more defined when key comes back...This is a challenging schedule and I think we ll head into sec play 9-3. That's a strong record vs this schedule. Once turnovers and consistency improved we ll be tough. Biggest thing I look for in young teams is fight...And these guys fight, don't always play well but the effort is there

It's time to get serious. We're about to win the fricking 'ship and Sexton and Hall are going to drop 30 points every game. We won't need FTs for what we're about to do to teams.

Yeah I'm fricking drunk. Who gives a shite. Buckle up bitches

Possibly the Mercer game but it will probably be the Texas game.

Avery said he will be back vs Mercer. Well see how much he's progressed as a player in the offseason.

I really hope Key can start realizing he's 6-7 and start to be a force when he drives. He played way too soft last year.

Avery is playing a lot of players again this year. One thing CAJ can do is coach defense, so they will get better at that as the season progresses. Playing as many players as we do will make for sloppy play, especially with so many of them freshmen. Maybe it helps with fatigue though.

Avery said Collin practiced today and will play tomorrow tomorrow as expected (eye injury).

Key practiced today and had no limitations. Needs more practice time to get back to being "game ready". He's a game time decision for tomorrow but Avery said it's more realistic to expect him to play vs Mercer
