Giddens is actually decent on the offensive side. Key, I believe everyone is waiting. I'm not sure who would take his plac and be more productive on offense. It pains me to say that.

On a bb note, I believe it was espn that reported that vt has beaten va., duke, and n.c. Scary.
Ya, they blew it in 3 of their final 4 games (tied or winning w ~1-2min left) which is how they ended up an 8.
They win juat the two regular season vs Louisville/Miami, they finish 12-6 ACC #2 with a resume of a ~4-5 Seed

You could say the same about us.
We could have ended up a 4-5 seed if not for that late season collapse. Let's hope Avery and most importantly those players learned from that experience.

I assume he was at least at practice almost every day.
Sitting and watching practice everyday doesn't equal to getting all of the reps on the floor with 4 other guys!!!

If you are saying he is inexperienced, then I whole heartedly agree.

Still in his 3rd year
Only 2nd season at BAMA though. Last season was spent as a scout team guy. He didn't get any of the reps that goes with running offensive sets, inbounds plays, etc.

Why couldn't it have been Vitale?

It sucks the team has to be in Pittsburgh. Just saw on social media that they are having an open practice tonight and its free to the public.
If they were in Nashville, I would have been able to make it to the practice and game.

Watching the USC /Asheville nit game and just randomly thinking how bill Walton spends a whole game talking about everything but the game and yet Dickie v gets crap from people six ways to Sunday. Lol damn Walton did alot of drugs I think.
They're both babbling idiots in my book that make games nearly unwatchable with the sound on.

I have a soft spot for Vitale because he was the voice of hoops in the 80's when the sport really became huge.
But yea, it's hard to listen to now for sure.
Walton seems like a good dude but I don't want to hear him call a game. He was working in lyrics to the Dead's The Wheel last night.

I have a soft spot for vitale too because he was the voice of college basketball while I was growing up. Used to speak to the McDonald's all Americans every year about making the right choices and having people around that care. I also know a couple of people who have met him and said he was genuinely a nice dude and very people friendly, not a jerk like packer.

Mark Fox seems like a good dude, doesn't make him a good basketball coach though
