I get that, but we've had several games this year where we've shot the ball well. It's been a while though so I know it's hard to remember. We make just 2 of the 3's we missed, and this game has a completely different complexion coming out of the half.

The effort is mostly there. We have a solid game plan. We're just missing shots, while Auburn is making shots. It's frustrating to watch, and easy to then pick out every little mistake they make out there.

I, like most here, didn't start getting loudly annoyed and angry until the last 2 weeks. And while I'm ecstatic with the way the last 2 days have gone, that 5 game stretch deserved every bit of ridicule it got. They were hot garbage and they mentally quit against Florida. Sorry, but this doesn't "replace" that or make me feel any bit of sorrow for reacting with anger about the way they played.

Now, the whole firing Avery right now thing........yea I thought that was a bit much. But quite frankly people care and want to win and are invested. I'm not going to get pissed at them for it.

Now - 9/10 seed
Beat Kentucky - 8/9 seed
Beat Georgia - 9/10 seed
Beat Kentucky & Tennessee - 7/8 seed

I hung in until we got destroyed by UF and showed no effort.

I've given Avery credit today. He had a very good game plan today and did a great job of coaching. I'm not ready to say that I feel comfortable about him long term, but he did a great job today.

Im telling you guys if Donta is OK Sexton is carrying us to the Sweet 16

Amen - agree.

It's ok to feel that way too. Every win doesn't mean we have to give him a 10 year extension.

He did a great job today and he did a great job keeping these guys heads straight even after the 5 game disaster.
