Anthony Grant knows he can make in-game adjustments, right?

Did Grant have a plan for the last possession? Sure didn’t seem so. This guy is just lost and totally in over his head.
Dayton fans Hate Anthony Grant....Thier tweets sound familiar
Here's two.

I remember the Dayton fans were saying “He’s a great hire. No one can win at Alabama, that’s why he struggled there”, and stuff like that. Now they know the truth lol

Miller isn't even going to get the chance to retire, he's going to jail
Knowing it's Kentucky, I think Calipari survives. He certainly didn't need the help like Miller at that program.
Oh and fun news for the Greg Byrne group, Sean Miller still gets 10.3M of his 12.2 contract even if he's fired for cause

Some attorneys actually think the FBI doesn't have a very strong case against these coaches.
I am listening to these espn talking heads going off on the ncaa. Some of these guys think the only way to stop this is to pay the athletes. These guys are crazy if they think that will stop greed and cheating. The kid and his mom that got the 100,000 is still going to want their money and think he deserves it because he is worth more than the others. These agents will still try to figure out ways to get these kids signed up, because that is how they make money, and the best way to make money is get to the kids early and give them some advanced money. Paying all the athletes 500.00 per month will not stop that. These kids think they are special and think they deserve more. That's just the way it is and nothing will change that.

Cal also seems like he probably has mob ties that can pay off the feds to avoid punishment.

So Dayton hired Anthony Grant. I should have been a coach.

How many coaches do yall think are gonna lose their jobs?? I say at least 7 or 8... Petrino already has. Miller probably will. I think Pearl ultimately will. And I think with all of the rape stuff going on at MSU combined with this that Izzo is a goner too. I even think their is a chance that Coach K will "retire"
Although it was someone at Yahoo like Thamel or the like, they did say they’d be surprised if Pearl was still at AU next year.

Also from a Dayton msg board last night
...sounds familiar as well

The full quote made by Thamel suggested he didn't have much basis or dirt and was just speculating. He threw out some "just common sense" line for his justification and "I'd be shocked"
At this point, Pearl isn't getting fired unless he has some Sean Miller type wiretaps come out. That doesn't appear likely

Thamel's a horse shite reporter.
Posted on 2/24/18 at 12:04 pm to TomRollTideRitter
It seemed to be that Thamel was talking on the "uncooperative" story. Especially since he didn't mention/hint at anything else and Finebaum has only alluded tothat too.
Fortunately for AU, the likelihood of AU being caught up in the dealings if Dawkins/ASM/Nike or Adidas is pretty low

Also the former coach talking heads who are trashing the integrity of current coaches are a joke.
They just got lucky they were fired before this went down

I just want everyone to know, that if we need a coach in the next few years, I'm more than willing to do the right thing and give Petino a chance to repair his name

Here’s the latest from NCAA President Emmert on CBS this morning. Taken from Tracy Wolfson’s Twitter account:
quote:
Mark Emmert on Arizona’s Miller and Ayton’s availability for tonight. Said it’s the school’s decision. Said they’ve been in contact wth all schools listed in the report.
quote:
Emmert on CBS “Some of our rules have been from different age and it’s reached a crescendo. We need to go in and look at the rules and see how it fits for current context. We’re really serious about making really systemic change starting with spring and going forward.”

Cecil Hurt when asked if Collin will play:
quote:
Sexton participated in shootaround today so I’d say Avery’s quote that he “anticipates” CS playing is still operative at this time.

Who was/is a better player: freshman Sexton or senior Obasohan?

Yahoo! just reported Sean Miller will not coach the Wildcats today.
He gone.
