I never said he was a good coach. He really wasn't. Outside of that Finals appearance he underachieved with good rosters and did really horribly with bad rosters. There was a reason no one else wanted him. Despite that, Battle still paid him a frick ton of money for no real reason. He's basically our Yaw Yaw.

Arkansas will be motivated after last night’s performance against Kentucky, but the game being at home should give us the edge.
No idea what to expect with Florida. Really not sure how we beat them as bad as we did in Gainesville.

Yea sort of not what you want to hear after getting skull dragged vs 7 scholly players. Oh well. Just make the tourney this year please haha.

I can't give you a reason we lose to Arkansas but it feels like a "they get hot and we suck arse" game to me.
Florida just sucks. I don't think there is really much else to it. They aren't very good.

That was how we used to lose road games during the Gottfried era. It's what led me to hate him more than just about anybody involved with Alabama athletics over the last 20 years, and we were going to/close to going to NCAATs at that point.

Well, apparently to our head coach who has accepted that we suck on the road, it’s acceptable.
Being a little facetious, of course, but damn man show a little steam after being downright embarrassed.

Why didn't Avery bench anyone? Could you imagine Saban or Dabo putting up with that shite? I saw Dabo chew his kicker out for walking off the field and made him go back out and run off

I can tell you a basketball coach who would not have accepted it - Calipari. For as much shite as he gets for "rolling the balls out" (which is nonsense), that guy does NOT put up with lackadaisical non-efforts. Ever.
And he has a roster full of Top 10 players, so if they can take it then Braxton Key damn sure can.

My guess is he's worried about our guys' confidence, so he's not going to pile on. Idk that quote pissed me off though.
