I don't remember many parking lots by the arena.

There are some that are 3-5 minute walks but are a pain in the arse on your way out

As far as parking lots I'd recommend parking on wire road between Samford and Heisman I think. There are lots on the west side where the old CDV/Extension loop was. Relatively close + easy exit w limited traffic wait

I won't give up my secret spot, but I'll just point out that for the past 3-4 years they've allowed game day parking rules aka "you can park on the grass etc on the outer rim of parking lots as long as you aren't blocking the road"

I've never been towed or had a ticket but I got a strategy on my method though

If we beat Auburn, then Auburn loses 2 more of their 3 remaining games (@ Florida, @ Arkansas, vs South Carolina), we likely win the SEC regular season title. Not very likely at all that happens, but there’s still a chance, especially when you think about Auburn only having 8 scholarship players left, McLemore being out, Bryce Brown being beat up a little, and Bruce not having anything but walkthrough practices now.

I want to believe

Do they play all 8 of those scholarship guys?

We will play

Sexton
Hall
Key
Ingram
Giddens
Petty
Reese
Herb
Avery Jr
Galin?

Biggest Key for Us is we HAVE to get either Spencer or Murray in Foul trouble as soon as possible.

UT would definitely be the favorite in that scenario considering Tennessee is still one game up on us and their remaining schedule even without the Auburn game is much easier than ours.

I'd rather just see Petty follow up his UK road performance with another solid outing. I think we're a better team than they are right now. We just need some help on the road for Sexton and Hall.

You forgot

1- Alabama has to win out
2- Tennessee has to lose another game

Petty does need to make a few shots from outside, but with the barns big man and shot blocker out, they are even shorter, and that should make it better for Sexton driving to the goal. If he could get Harper in foul trouble that would be big. Sexton needs to make his foul shots though. He and Hall have struggled some lately at the line.

If Ala loses tonight, they'll be the #5 seed.

If Ala/Fla wins tonight, they'll be the #2 seed.

If Ala/Tenn wins tonight, they'll be the #3 seed.

I think I have that right.

Donta was doing really well at the FT line before his wrist injury. That fricked his rhythm at line up.

Yea - and I'm not convinced it doesn't just physically hurt him to shoot jumpers too.

Guy is tough as nails. Every time he jams his hand and it coils back into his wrist he pretty clearly has agonizing looking pain and he just shakes it off or goes out for 2 minutes then comes back in.

Sonny Smith on wjox said the key for Auburn is keeping the 4 & 5 men out of foul trouble. Smith said zone defense is one way to do that. (If they do play zone, that tends to shorten the game.) Sonny said this is a better Ala team than the one Auburn played in Tuscaloosa. Key is playing better and Sexton and Hall didnt play much or any.

So, Sexton, Ingram, and Key are our best at driving the lane. We need to see a lot of screens for those guys and some pick n roll for Donta.

So I didn't see this posted earlier, but ESPN's Borzello has Alabama ranked 23rd in his last power ranking after the UK loss. He has UK ahead of us though. Not sure I agree with that part to be honest. We play that game at Coleman and have a typical game on the boards and I think they get waxed by 15. This Kentucky team just isn't that impressive.

I dunno, they looked pretty impressive last night. They dominated Arkansas on the boards the same way they did to us. Arkansas is flaky as shite but they are generally (outside of the random LSU game this year) pretty good at home and Kentucky just manhandled them.

I still don't think Kentucky is great, but I think they could possibly be figuring themselves out and be a formidable Top 15-20 team. I still think we're a toss up with them on a neutral site, though.

KY has shortened the bench--using fewer players. They are going more with the guys that can play. They did look good last night after they got down 11 to nothing. Arkansas didn't look like they played with much intensity in the second half though.

Arkansas under Anderson is Alabama under Gottfried but with a lower ceiling and less accomplishment.

I don't know how those folks haven't lost their minds yet. They are such a mentally weak program.
