Any expectations for Saturday?

Honestly hoping Tennessee has a terrible shooting day.

I expect an ugly, sloppy game, which plays right into UT's hands.

Hopefully we can start out hot from the field. Would like to see Petty get out of his slump and gain some confidence for the final stretch.

So we need to hold serve at home and that gets us to 19 wins heading into the SEC tourney.

UT
LSU
FLA
ARK

We can do this!!!

I don't feel great about it, but it wouldn't shock me in the least to put it together and win. However, I think we could play a solid ballgame and still lose. Tennessee is a very good basketball team.

Andy Katz talks about Bama, says they’re in the tourney and now just playing for seeding. We’re not even on the bubble in his eyes, WE’RE IN just don’t need to collapse.

Here’s what Andy said: LINK

“I moved Alabama up too. The Tide are 5-4 in Quadrant 1 and 4-4 in Quadrant 2 with an RPI of 42. The Tide did everything the selection committee wanted teams to do by playing anyone, anywhere. I can’t see them falling out.”

He's right. Right now, we have a lot of stellar wins over top RPI teams, a lot of solid wins, and only one true bad loss (Vandy). Right now we're solidly into the field. I truly think we have a great chance of getting in with 18 wins.

Let's not get cocky. I wouldn't be surprised if all the starters broke their legs and we didn't win another game.

But yeah, I think if we just maintain the current win/loss rate, we're in.

Think we don't win this Saturday, but we finish out beating UK, Arkansas, and LSU. A&M is starting to play up to their potential and it's on the road.

None of my predictions ever come to fruition though, so frick me right?

Not holding my breath for a win in Rupp. Wasn't Gillispie their coach the last time we won there? That doesn't even count since he was literally drunk for every game.

I think we run the table at home , might steal another road game....But Katz and Blake Lovell both get it as far as how the committee views things . Anybody can schedule easy wins but it doesn't benefit u in long run.

I think the last time we won at Kentucky was against Tubby Smith with Gottfried's last tournament team.

This is probably first or second best team since then though and one of Kentucky's weakest.

It really is baffling that we're solidly in the tournament at this point given how shitty we've played at times and how bad some of the losses are on our schedule.
