Sounds bad for Bruce. They have all kinds of problems in their athletic dept. A couple of weeks ago Pat Dye told some auburn people the albarn basketball program is a dumpster fire and they ought to just shut it down.

I'm so bummed about the outlook of the team now. I'm going to watch with a very sterile expression on my face the entire season. It hurts so bad

Imo even if we struggle ooc we could pull a Vandy and sneak in if our opponents live up to expectations

When Pearl was hired I said I didn’t care if they did pass us (which I felt like they did) I wouldn’t hire that SOB for nothing and that he would have them on probation before he left. I wasn’t too far off.

It's just funny to see how things work out. At the time of the Pearl hire, Gus was a proclaimed offensive genius. So they had all the momentum in the world, and now to see it all come crashing down is just too sweet. Remember how lippy they were that year about how it was Auburn's state now.

I know what "no new updates" means. But how the frick does that answer the question "will he travel?" Just say "yes", "no", or " " we don't know yet."
I agree Avery has been great with his openess thus far. But that doesn't mean I can never disagree with anything he says. Frankly, the way this whole situation was kept quiet makes it look worse than it probably is. If you think they had no inkling Colin might not play, you're naive. It's now obvious from some of the answers we've been getting the past few weeks.
I love CAJ, but they've been keeping this possibility quiet in hopes it would solve itself before the season. It didn't.

Whether he talks about it enough to satisfy the fans is literally meaningless though.
He’s obviously been advised to comment on it as little as possible. it’s really not complicated.

“We don’t know yet” is an answer to the question. It sets the precedent that he is answering questions about it. I’m assuming they don’t want him doing that while things are unclear, make of that what you will.

Schlabach is a shite reporter and has a weird love fest w Auburn gossip that he never fact checks. He regularly amends/alters articles and like a douche doesn't leave editors notes

Damn...it really sucks. It seems no matter who our coach is something always goes wrong when we are suppose to have a decent team.

Why wouldn’t Pearl be fired for refusing to cooperate with an internal investigation? That’s basically what got him fired from UT and a show cause. Bruce is hiding something. And it’s been speculated that he doesn’t care if Auburn fires him or not, he’s not answering questions from attorneys at Auburn because he’s worried he will soon be answering questions from DOJ attorneys.

That's exactly what it is. The reports are true. This whole story actually was posted on a message board (maybe TI) a couple days before it broke. I didn't know whether to believe it or not. But with more than one person reporting it, there has to be something to it
