20 wins would be great. If we can reach 20, that means we are rolling pretty good and will be hell for anyone in the tournament

the tiebreaker between any two teams is head to head and then record vs the #1 seed, and onward.
Unless we get swept, that'll work in our favor in most cases after the Auburn win.

Our shooting is weak, no sugar coating it. But we should be able to have a good half court game based on penetration, screens, pick and roll, etc. Do our plays/strategy just suck or what gives? I watched the Missouri game and we just looked pathetic but I figured that was their style of play, not our sets. So what’s the scoop
You kind of answered your own question. Defenses can sink in on us defensively to stop penetration, screens, and pick and rolls, and allow wide open threes given we don't hit them with consistency. We have been given more open 3pt attempts this year than I've seen in ages. We just don't hit them.

I think it comes down to a lack of shooters. Petty is really the only guy to spread the floor, and he's very inconsistent. Teams are fine leaving Key and Ingram open for three, so we end up with a very clogged paint. It seems like pretty often we get the ball to a guy open in the corner only for him to ball fake and drive right back into the clogged paint.

28 right now, so they're Q1 as well. LSU is only a few spots below 75 which would give us another Q1 win.

Lunardi has everyone seeded from 1-68 right now , and we re 36th(so 9 seed ) ...And this was before today's game. We also have the second most wins vs the top 25.

I don't think we are as bipolar as everyone is saying. We struggle with physical teams. If you just look at our guys that shouldn't be a surprise.
We also are so bad on offense in the half court that we have to defend well to get some buckets in transition or at least early offense. Teams that slow down the game and foul a ton force us to score at a slower pace.
We're athletic, but not physical in the paint. Also, you're right about our half court offense. When you run your offense to get opens jump shots and 3s, our less that stellar shooting presents us with big problems.

If I recall correctly (will have to look back) didn't you say it was absurd to think sexton could average around 20 as a freshman?
I said it was absurd to "expect" any incoming FR to average 25+ppg. LINK
I said that because people never average 25+ppg in the SEC, so to expect a FR to do it is ridiculous
I also was saying that expecting Petty (in addition to SextoN) as a minimum 18ppg is ridiculous too

He also said he didn't see him being a one and done. Regardless, what he just said is 100% accurate so I'm not sure why you're bringing this up now.)
I never made a comment about Sexton just that a 1 and done is really rare and people act like it is normal just because of what UK does

If you want to get me on something, it is me saying Herb Jones being a XFactor was ridiculous. I was definitely definitely wrong on that. I like that kid

So going forward, what we really need to recruit is a couple of shooters like Roberson of Missou who could hit a 3 from Denny Chimes and i would also like to see us bring in a quality finisher in the post. Giddens takes up space in the paint and defends decently but his offensive skills are lacking. It would be nice to have a Robert Horry/ Antonio McDyess type that would be a threat to hurt you in the paint.
I worry that because Avery was a guard himself, he seems enamored with backcourt guys and doesn’t recruit the front court as well. I know basketball has evolved away from the dominant big man but I think they are still very much a weapon if used properly. You don’t have to be a great shooting team if you have a monster in the paint cleaning up the misses with easy put backs.
