If we miss the NCAA tourney AGAIN, idk how I’m gonna force myself to keep watching. It’s gotten to where I feel like I’m getting hit in the head by a hammer over and over when watching them play

Yeah but Alabama challenged them defensively. Which clearly no one was interested in that tonight. Auburns not an inconsistent team. Truth is bama's pretty damn good when they have to prove something. But In games that are not very eye catching we usually get stuff like this

Defense played decent after the pathetic first 10-15 minutes of the game. Not stellar, but decent enough to win the damn game.
Offense was just inexplicably bad. Just ....frick, I'm speechless at how bad it was. Worse than anything Grant put out there.

Missouri isn't exactly untalented, even without the PG and Porter. They've actually been incredible similar to us this season minus a few of our bigger wins.

I think Avery needs to really focus on recruiting some shooters in the upcoming class. Most of our players are really similar. Athletic, long, but extremely raw. And we saw the benefits of it against OU where we were constantly disrupting their passing lanes. We saw tonight that effort like that isn't going to be there every night. And sure shooting isn't either. But if we had a guy or 2 that we knew was gonna hit open shots we would rarely have nights like this, if ever.

During the Dubose thru Shula years, I stayed flat out shitfaced on Saturdays. It's more difficult for basketball since we have mid week games. I hate this sport

A shooter isn't what we needed tonight. We were in the bonus with 16 minutes left in the 2nd half. we needed to be pounding the lane and attacking the rim on every possession. It's monumentally stupid that we weren't doing that.
