I was expecting our SOS to be better actually. UT-A, Minnesota, and A&M have disappointed.

Minnesota is now sub-100 RPI wise

How good is Herb going to be when he actually peaks? Stop turning it over, gets better at rebounding and becomes a consistent scorer. Once he does those things he'll be a first round pick. He may grow a couple more inches too

I actually think Herb will have a longer Pro career than Petty

Herb has a little Benoit and Cheatum in him.

Petty not only shot well in the first, he didn't force it in the 2nd which would have been easy to do.

Thank God we didn't lose to La Tech or Mercer

Herb needs to work on his jump shot (his ideal future in the NBA is a 3 and D guy that can maybe create a bit more than your average 3 and D)
But the thing that he needs to be working on day and night in the short term is avoiding those traveling calls he constantly gets when he pump fakes or jab steps

yep he takes that pass on the wing, jab steps and walks
the upside is he's the best defender in the league

Chadaristic you got your wish. Even TCU couldn’t survive the hellhole that is Memorial Gym in Nashville.

A good win for Vandy doesn’t hurt us imo.

The team is playing better as a team lately. They are young and need to keep working on getting better. Go into the SEC tourney hot and ride it out from there.

I would be a little surprised if he's a 4 year player. He has an NBA body and the foundation of an NBA skill set. If he can improve his shot he's draftable.

Few hours later and I'm still happy.

remember those years when we would be in every game and only score 4 points in the last 7 minutes....repeatedly

Our remaining games from least to most difficult
1. LSU
2. Missouri
3. Arkansas
4. @State
5. @A&M
6. UT
7. Florida
8. @Kentucky
9. @Florida
10. @Auburn
Still think we need 5 wins although today definitely helped our case with 18 total.
