I'll give Avery credit. His gameplan to defend Young was Elite. 17 points and thats with him making 3 circus shots that were defended well.

Everyone else doesn't have the plethora of long, athletic guys that can switch everything like we do.

I'm gonna call Jones "the trae young stopper". Collin went at him hard too , he just doesn't lose head to head against other marquee guards....And like someone said he's a damn good kid and deflected the praise post-game.

Sexton and Herbert got into Young's head a little. He was not very aggressive with either of them defending him. Almost all of his points came against Jr, Key, or Petty.

Gotta give it to Avery:
Every time I've doubted him and criticized how we're coached, he follows it up with a solid game plan and the team executes. He has done some great things here.
Now if we can just do it consistently and start seriously being a contender.

Holy cow just peaked at the front page and the remaining schedule. Those road games are ridiculous. Dang looks like this game was even more critical because we have some games that are gonna be difficult to win to say the least.
