I can't see much reason to keep Avery if we don't look much better next year. Guys like Watford and Kira would be so dumb to come here, so I don't see us getting them either.

Well, another Bill Battle hire goes down the drain. I really hope Byrne feels like he should go out and get his man. It's pretty obvious Avery isn't going to work out. Why wait another year, when you know he likely won't turn it around?

Tom, it was bad before Key came back, but they’ve gotten worse.
Really, really disappointed. I had such high hopes for this year. Unless we do a 180, I’m ready to hit the reset button and let Byrne hire a coach. I don’t want to suffer through 2-3 more years of this shite.

I'll say the same thing I said when we had Grant. I don't care how much or little our coach promotes the program as long as he wins.

Just find a coach who can actually teach any offense. I'm so sick of watching 4 guys stand around when we're on offense. It's been that way for a decade.

I've been 100% behind Avery, but this game today and Vandy the other day (and really the season overall) has started to change my mind.
IMO there has to be a complete 180 for the season in order for us to keep him. I'm talking deep into the SEC Tourney, NCAAT and I might accept an NIT championship depending on the circumstances that get us there.
