My latest edit. Blake Sims, Amari Cooper, Kenyan Drake and Derrick Henry go ham on Florida's defense in Bryant-Denny.

That game should have been around a 56-0 Bama blowout.

Bama dominated, but keep on turning the ball over. All of Florida's point came off the turnovers.

Florida never put a drive together longer then 30 yards.

That 14 Bama team was hit or miss. They would go out and destroy some teams, then completely struggle with others.

It was a fun year despite the end. I’d kill for that home schedule again

#1 MSU, Auburn, Florida, and Texas A&M

I agree. I was there.

Florida had no business being in that game in the 3rd quarter.

That 14 team had so many future stars - unreal.

I didn't go to the game, but I was in Tuscaloosa.

Had a ton of fun that day. Almost fell asleep at Innisfree that night. One of the few times my ex girlfriend had to take care of me instead of the other way around.

That was the game that convinced me Kiffin didn't believe in an offensive identity. About the only thing he was pretty much convinced of was getting the ball to Cooper and being the opposite of whatever the defense was lined up to give you. Alabama should take 2014 to heart, we saw a lot of those offensive principles repeat themselves during the Tua years. Strong through the air, and often a failure to launch in the running game (Yeldon and Henry notwithstanding) The defensive struggles against elite offenses were another. If you insist on spreading them out and chunking in a hurry the defense is ALWAYS gonna pay.

The spring was going to be a real litmus test for this year's edition of name that offense. I feel sad not getting a sneak peek.

Blake Sims had 451 yards passing. Not bad for a guy many (including myself) thought couldn't complete a pass more than 10 yards downfield.

This year's offense could be awesome running the ball with the offensive line and running back corps. But you also have the ability to burn teams deep with the pass with Smitty and Waddle coming back. The key of course is QB. Mac Jones is solid and a game manager but Bryce Young brings a different dynamic with his ability to create when the play breaks down. This offense has the potential to be lethal with the right QB play. Unfortunately, there isn't any time to figure out who works best. USC will be a legit test and Georgia is going to have a great defense.

Their offense returns everyone from last year and so does the defense. The QB put up huge numbers and their wide receivers are very talented. Clay Helton is under tremendous pressure right now. USC is a proud program like Alabama and their fans expect to win. It will be a challenging game.
