No way AJ is a first rounder but going by tonight Hubbard will be a top 10 pick. They took two guys with his size and they dont even play as much as him.

Hubbard and MAYBE Steen can be added to that list as well. I don't see AJ going in the first with how good the QB class will be next year.

It's possible that both Teddy and JFF stay in school, but even if they come out AJ could still be a top three QB prospect, and he'll be riding a lot of hype if we win it all again.

I know your happy Mag
I really wanted DJ Hayden as a Buc 2 or so months ago (a poster on Bucs Nation who is EXCELLENT in draft previews on players was getting everyone excited about him)
Then he was cleared medically and the Raiders really loved him
TB was hoping to either trade up in the 1st or get him in the 2nd and he goes top 15
Jets had a really good draft though Mag, and the Vikings MOTHER OF GOD
I think Reid will do well for the 49ers
Titans getting Warmack (who they were hoping for) is scary I agree with Zona picking Cooper will make them mad in 3 yrs, but its a much better situation on a team that's not that bad in Tenn
I don't like Fluke in SD, but they had him high on their board (and knew they could get him)
I think SF nabs Jess Williams (still hoping he falls and TB gets him though
)

I wonder where Lacy is gonna end up though. He could last a ways into the second round. Looking at some of these teams going first tonight, you've got Jacksonville, the niners, the Eagles, teams like that. The Bengals pick 5th in the second round and they might go RB (doesn't mean it'll be Lacy, some teams may like other guys more).

I don't get people talking about Dee replacing Revis. Dee is replacing AC, AC is replacing Revis.

Richardson pick caught me off guard, but apparently he was one of the Jets' top 4 players. The other three being Milliner, Warmack, and Austin. DL has 3 1st rounders on it now.
People around Rex knew he was excited when Dee fell, probably one of the easiest picks in the draft so far. Cromartie, Wilson, and Milliner in the nickel should work this year.
THEY JUST NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE OFFENSE!
Vikings and Rams did great, especially since Minnesota didn't go up for Te'o
They just benefited from the falls and actually did well for Patterson. They actually came out ahead on the value chart, but being able to secure a starter supersedes that regardless. There's little chance they get someone like Patterson with the picks they traded.

He's gonna be connected due to being drafted directly after Revis was traded. He'll likely be replacing Kyle Wilson in actuality, whether that's slot CB since he was drafted, or his lone year outside in '12.
There's talk that Cro may be gone after '13, helping the cap space grow with Revis coming off the books, and Sanchez and Holmes getting cut. In that situation, he would be replacing the #1 CB. I don't agree with cutting him and I hope that's false, but 50 million in cap can do some work.

Well I'm hoping Dee shows out. First game against Revis and the Buccs, if he out performs Revis (though people will probably credit Revis not being 100%, and that's fair, but if you let an injury handicap Revis then they should mention this fake arse shoulder concern they keep bringing up for Dee) then that's big, and then his first national TV game is against Brady and the Pats? I think he's gonna be motivated.

I don't really see why people think AJ going in the first is farfetched.
Both Teddy and JFF may not even come out, but even if they do, who is gonna go higher than AJ other than those two? Maybe Boyd. As of right now it's definitely reasonable to say he can be a first rounder. He has a good arm, not a great arm, he has elite decision making, he's a proven leader, a proven winner, will be riding a shite ton of hype, he's clutch, and he shows up for the big games. And he's got the size, AND he's more mobile than people think, he just isn't an option guy, he's like Aaron Rodgers in the mobility department, he can move around to keep the play alive, and he can roll out and if he has the angle pick up a few.
I see him as a solid, consistent starter in the NFL. I think he's like a taller Russell Wilson with a prettier girlfriend.

Ok guy, does Nico Johnson go in the third round tonight, or is he gonna have to wait until tomorrow?
Posted on 4/26/13 at 10:50 am to AllBamaDoesIsWin
Another reason is that he might actually have to wear #24, #28 is pretty much retired.
I think he'll do more than fine, they've just got to find a end rusher to help the defense. With the Richardson pick, there are guesses that a 43 switch will happen(or more 1 gap 34). There are vet 43 DEs on the market, but they'll likely have to draft a 34 OLB.

@banditref: In the past 5 years the entire Big 10 has had 18 first round draft picks; Alabama has had 14.

AJ has been a fantastic college QB, but I'm not sure how the NFL will rate him. Their QB evals still confuse me to this day.

He seems like a prototypical NFL QB. Tall, athletic, good arm, great decision maker, and a winner.

Eddie Lacy went home.

Wonder why? He's going to be picked early today.
