This is definitely new information. Is he a T or C? I know we're not looking at any more guards, which is why KSM never got an offer, but we want to add another OL according to a Frank Wilson radio interview on July 4th.

He plays TE in high school so he should be athletic for a lineman. Center is the position I've heard projected for him

He is listed as a tackle, but I think he is more suited to be a guard at UA or LSU.

I like Santa Maria being slightly taller and lighter as far projecting him at tackle in the future.

Unless KJ Malone recently learned to snap the ball, Dodd will begin his career at either tackle or center.
And on your KSM comment, I don't think that's accurate. I know Bama has thought more highly of him than LSU, but he tried to commit multiple times and was turned away.
ETA: I mean to say, he hasn't been a take for Bama unless yalls board moved, and this may open his spot.

If he does switch to LSU, I really hope he does it in a classy way. If possible just decommit for a while. I don't like recruiting games that are played. I do like that he's already talked to the coach he's currently committed to about the visit.
