Why does are recruiting feel so dead right now? I mean since Saban has arrived our camps have been top notch affairs. What is turning off the guys in the 2013 class so badly?
Take UGA, Richt is on the hot seat still and Mansell/Estes have an update talking to kids every other hour. We haven't had solid positive info in a month. And that is with Bone now at Tidesports and BOL. Its like dead at both sites.

There are literally about 100 prospects from all over the country attending Bama's camp over the next several days. We'll probably get a couple commits. Relax and be patient.

Camp hasn't even started yet and there is still gonna be a shite ton of talent of campus.

You watch the kids talk to each other on twitter and such (whether you follow them or not Mansell tends to retweet everything they say anyway its how I know what Wiggins/Matthews say despite not following them).
What is making these kids treat UGA like its "cooler"? What changed? Last I checked Richt has been there a decade without winning shite and we are back to back national title winners.

While I disagree that Richt is on the hot seat still, at least not without tanking this year, I think our success is just a combination of recently recruiting well/expanding recruiting staff, an enticing depth chart, and mainly the fact that we have 30+ spots in this class.
And actually we haven't had to deal with much CMR hot seat talk unlike last cycle. It really crippled us early last cycle.

He didn't win a bowl game against a Big 10 team. He has been there a decade without a Crystal football, how is he not on the hot seat?
I just don't see how so many recruits can get it down to UGA/Bama where the two programs are right now and pick UGA.
Mitchell, Crowell, Marshall, Tunsil, Henry, too many kids to name.

Last time I checked bama had the #1 class in the country...you can't get a commit every week. Besides, kids don't come to Bama because it's "cool"
The guys that come are well aware that they'll either work their arse off or ride the pine. Talent alone doesn't cut it here

We have to get and keep one first. This recruiting class has been absolute shite so far. I mean we are actually debating taking kids like Shaun McGee and Walker Jones.
