changing the subject but Bama has 11 names on the sec coaches team. That makes half of our starters are pre season..this means more to me than the sports writers sec preseason since coaches know the kids from game film and the playing field

We stacked.

People act like we're going to be much worse, but we will have a better O-Line, better run game (with no Vlachos getting his arse kicked in the middle), much better passing game, a better D-Line, better coverage from our LBs, and more playmaking with Belue/Sunseri on the field.

Also, we're stacked with return men, Mandells punting has improved, Shelley has his swagger, Cade can kick from the 35 on kickoffs now, and Griffith is coming to campus.

Bama Staaaaaaaaaaacked.

LSU, UGA, and USCw Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucked.

Only Ford rushed on us AT ALL, and it was all from the option. Again, our D-Line is better, Nico is the best run stuffing LB in the country, Williams is going to be one of the two best NGs in the country, and Lonergan is going to be his bitch.

Isn't that what bama fans were saying last year and somehow lsu accumulated almost 200 yards at trailer town. Hmm, I see a pattern.

I doubt they will be running the option that we didn't prepare for with Mett.

We've basically had a month straight of bad recruiting news.

One month out of about 5 amazing years. I wouldn't sweat it too much. Other schools should be so lucky to have the "troubles" you're having right now.

So with losing Foster, will we be looking for another M'backer, or was his not really a position of need, just too good to pass up?

If we need someone to fill that position, who might the staff be looking at to fill the void?

Guys, don't forget several top recruits from each of their classes fail to make it at au. Their top classes from the last few years are not that good now. This class will be the same. A few of their top guys will disappear within 2 years.

That's just not true. The only class we've had any trouble with was 2010(lost Dyer, Goodwin, Gayden - due to injury and Richardson due to not qualifying) but it's way too early to tell for the 11 and 12 classes. Those guys are the only 4 or 5 star players, i.e. "top recruits" from that class. Dyer was the only one that made any kind of impact by the time he was gone.

And out of the 10 and 11 class, we only had one player not qualify and as of now, it looks like we should have everyone from the 12 class qualify. That's a long ways from what we dealt with when Tuberville was here, where he had a farm system of juco kids.

I won't count our 09 class since that wasn't totally Chizik's, but to say our classes from the last few years are not that good now is just not true, partially because Chizik and co. have only brought in 3 of their own so far.

Back to bama cruitin...

We have signed the number 1 MLB in high school two years in a row in Trey DePreist and Reggie Ragland, plus we signed Dillon Lee last year who was the number 4 MLB and Denzel Duvall who was the 8th rated MLB.Also we have Nico Johnson and CJ Mosley.Pretty sure we are more loaded at MLB than any team in the country, and I doubt it's close.

Yeah he isn't playing MLB for us, just to try to get him on the field, there is like a 4 year waiting list at Alabama right now for those wanting to play MLB.Just saying they were all ranked by scout as MLB's coming out of High School.
