diddydirty, Saban is straight forward in the recruiting process and guess what we land a lot of straight forward players. Is that not true?

Whatever team gets him will welcome him with open arms and his drama is as much us message board fans' fault as it is his, but he has and will continue to turn people off if he keeps this up.

Looking forward to see this presser no matter what he gives good interviews and never really answers the questions asked correctly should be interesting though.

No doubt about it. Recruiting is getting too big, and kids like him are the product. Regardless of who if flips to, if he flips, you know as well as I do that he will keep flirting with other schools because he won't be able to last 2 weeks without getting some attention.

No but I dont believe every coach recruits the same type of players. You would have to be a idiot to say that. Some coaches may want character over talent.

Agree to disagree... but if you look at it on the recruiting end it is harder to see, but if you look at our team it is very low drama. And that may be because they take on the personality of the coach, but I think recruiting plays a major role in that.

I heard CNS speak about a month ago and he said that the 3 areas they evaluate every prospect are measurables, ability, and character. He said every year there are plenty of big time prospects being pursued by major programs that Bama chooses not to recruit because of character.

Every school is going to always have issues and we probably never hear about all of them cant control that

Every coach says that, but the we know which kids are being recruited by Saban and they are the same ones AU, UGA and LSU are after.
I have no doubt that he wants character kids, but I also know he takes talent over character (within reason) if he has to decide just like every other coach.
ETA: He would take Nkdemniche (sp?), Liner, RF and everyone else we have been talking about if they were to want to play at Bama.
