Say wha? I think we would all be shocked if that happened. Pleasantly shocked, but shocked nonetheless.

ETA: not hating on you, bro. I want to believe it too, but your predictions have included more sunshine than a 2 week vacation to Hawaii.

I'm locked in on EV. That's my guy and if we don't get him I might cry a little. So my feeling on the class is tied to him. Agree about Conner

Is the angle with Adams have to do with Foster? Seems like they became all buddy buddy during the process and were going to AU together. Now that Foster is going to commit to us, Adams may be rethinking his position. Everyone seems to think it's between us and AU. I like our chances if that is the case.

To be honest with you, I would prefer to land Vanderdoes over Adams. I just think he would come ready to work, whereas Adams comes off as lazy to me. I could be wrong about him though.

I want them both.

A guy on 247 put it best the other day. It seems like these last few days of the recruiting cycle, all 5 star recruits are being asked to return to the mothership. I mean there is a legit chance we end up with 8 5 star guys. That is nuts. I wonder what the record for most 5 stars signed in one class is?

8 5 star guys

5 Star Prospects based on 247 Composite Rating

Enrollees
Derrick Henry
OJ Howard

Solid Commits
Jonathan Allen
Robert Foster

Lock
A'Shawn Robinson

Bama in Top Group
Reuben Foster
Tony Conner
Eddie Vanderdoes
Montravius Adams

If everything breaks correctly, then we could end up with 9. I will put it this way, if all those guys want to come, I am sure we will find the spots. Of course we could just as easily end up with only 5 of them...

I think Adams and EV are the two that we have the smallest chance with, but even saying that, they do have legit interest in us and wouldn't be surprising at all to get them both.

Conner would be right behind them, although it's pretty clear Conner wants to come to UA. I hope his desire wins out over all the instate pressure.

Someone on 247 reported that "TOS (AB)" is predicting we close with Foster, Liner, Kamara, Robinson, Conner and Vanderdoes. TOS is what they call all other recruiting sites "The Other Site". Not sure what (AB) means.
Edit: I guess its Andrew Bone.

The Conner and EV picks were low confidence

With Bozeman grayshirting and the guys that early enrolled and backcounted... exactly how many spots do we have left open again? Considering everyone committed to us signs?

5?

Correct although it seems likely that 1 or 2 other commitments besides Bozeman will not sign.

Right, Paige and Cook. Possibly Tenpenny. Also heard Hill would be willing to walk-on. So that could give us possibly 6-9 open spots? Maybe even ten if Walker Jones would grayshirt?

I don't think anyone really knows. Personally, I think Paige has a spot regardless and I don't see Hill walking on.

Well, yeah... I was trying to get a range on it.

5 minimum....10 extreme max.

Personally I think Tenpenny and Paige sign. Cook goes Juco.

And Saban could use Hill and Walker as variables.

But who really knows... should be exciting wednesday.
