However, if we sign Foster for this class we can kiss Raekwon McMillan for next year goodbye. He has said multiple times that he will not sign with the same school that signs Foster due to being the same type player. I'm fine with it though, because we were never his leader.

Which makes me wonder about Luke Del Rio's status. EE and all, as a preferred walk on, but I'm pretty sure he had offers at a couple of schools. So, does he count towards the 85?

I think you count against the 85 if you come on an Official visit or are visited by a coach off campus. Neither of those happened with LDR to my knowledge but Walker took an official so I think he would be a counter even if he paid his own way. Not 100% positive.

Don't think that's 100% accurate.
If it were, then Bozeman would still be counted as well. He plans on enrolling and taking classes, then being put on scholarship in January.
Being on the team and enrolling are different I believe.

That's why Bozeman can't pay his own way. We actively recruited him. He can take a GS and count toward the 2014 class. He won't count towards this class due to a loophole in the rules. See John Parker Wilson for an example.

The main thing is that Bozeman won't be signing an LOI (presumably) because it's the SEC 25 LOI limit that we're going to be up against. Bozeman won't sign an LOI which opens a spot for someone else to sign.
