System responded buddy sent response to a lot of ppl (on my list so a good bit of you have mail) I'll also post cliffs on here
The finish as I expect, staff has prepared to sign the following to close out the class, understand this is who they expect which doesn't always happen because like the Tunsil and OM situation recruiting is crazy sometimes can't stress that enough, anyway here it is
1. Alvin Kamara
2. Jarran Reed
3. Dee Liner
4. Eddie Vanderdoes (Visit going as well as hoped and that is putting it lightly it should be a slam dunk after Sunday that is STAFF DOING WORK!)
5. Tony Conner (Rumors floating he committed to staff after Saban in home, have been confirmed)
6. Von Bell (only kid the staff is not completely 110% confident as of this morning on landing, wouldn't be shocked if he stays close to home and picks UT who has done a marvelous job with him and making up ground the last couple weeks and making him a priority, is a possibility of adding due to academic concerns with Cook)
Possibility of adding Poggi as a GS, he wants in just some details to be ironed out if he picks Bama it will be as a GS
All I got this morning

Does the staff believe we keep Tenpenny?
Posted on 2/2/13 at 9:45 am to BuccWildBammer
I'll roll tide to that

I'll take that finish. Really want to land Bell to keep him out of UT's hands. frick them. They need to experience what we went through in the 00's completely. I don't want them to get any good players.

No worries. Bell is going to commit to Ole Miss on NSD.

yes
If you're wondering about numbers
with the current commits (22) gives us 4 spots, Bozeman is GS, Cook likely to not qualify so that'd be 6

So no Cook = a spot for Bell. I can dig it.

Does anyone know if the staff is happy with how we recruited at the OL position this year?
Posted on 2/2/13 at 10:23 am to RollTide1987
I don't know about them, but me personally "No, LT, no happy."

OL is a LOT better in '14, I say that I mean it, also CB as well
I think the group is vastly underrated
- Grant Hill is a monster
- Leon Brown has a chance to start at RT
- Bozeman is a great interior OL GS will help tremendously
- If we sign Poggi it will be as an interior OL, thus needing a GS as well he's 265 or so and a great blocking TE, add some lbs to that huge frame and he could be special as well
Bama has a shot at a large group of really good OL, a lot more true LT type OL next year, we were Tunsil or bust this yr

They wanted a LT, looks like they struck out on that.
They missed on Deon Mix super early, lost 3 targets to Michigan early(but turned 1 down after he re-opened his recruitment), and ultimately lost a guard to the next signing class.
I think there's happy in what they have, even though they were shooting for a high profile OT. Grant Hill is the jewel IMO, they desperately wanted Brandon Hill back(and got him), and a JuCo who can contribute depth at LT and compete for the RT spot.
'14 had OTs lining up for Bama, shouldn't miss on a LT unless the staff is fired. Prince, Brown, Bauer, McDermott, etc...

Speaking of LT's, Golson and Tunsil both visited UA for their officials on the same weekend. Golson was not happy that Tunsil got more attention and seemed to be our #1 priority.
Now they are both going to Ole Miss??? Why the frick would Golson go there when Tunsil is? He will never see the field.
Am I the only one who is completely dumbfounded by that situation? They get two LTs, one of which didn't enjoy his time over the course of a weekend because the higher rated guy got more attention, yet he's willing to spend the next 3-4 YEARS in his shadow?

I think Golson will reassess the situation if in fact Tunsil signs with Ole Miss. He's still putting FSU on the table, and he was committed for decent amount of time.
If not, he resigned himself to one of the 4 other spots on the line, or believes he's more talented than Tunsil.
He did start over Tunsil in their all star game

I really wish we could land A'Shawn Robinson. He could be a beast LT given proper coaching. Let him RS behind Cyrus and get a years worth of Stoutland and Cochran and he'd be scary fricking good.

We were never going to get Golson.

Fingers crossed:
